Reproducing familiar streets and landmarks, these land auction posters from Whitehorse map the future dreams for our suburban streets. Will you find the street where you live amongst these bold illustrations?
Documenting the land booms of the 1880s through to the 1920s, the original posters are held in the State Library Victoria collection. Reproduced by Richard Conn from Whitehorse Historical Society, they on display in the All Nations Foyer for Whitehorse Heritage Week.
