Turn old sportswear into footies! Learn to stitch footy pockets from waste materials.
Did you know that more than 6,000 kilograms of clothing and textiles are sent to landfill every ten minutes? But your old sportswear doesn’t have to become landfill! In this workshop, you will take the footy pockets made from consumer waste and fill them with pre-consumer waste. A Fitting Connection will teach you how to stitch the footy closed! All materials will be provided. If you have any old sporting clothing that you no longer want, you can bring it along for a second life!
