The Gallery is The Round’s purpose-built board room. A quiet and comfortable space, it is perfect for business meetings, a breakout space, private dining, VIP functions or sponsor events.
 

The Gallery will feature beautiful artwork from the City of Whitehorse’s renowned Art Collection. It is equipped with a boardroom table, comfortable chairs, and full access to The Round’s state of the art audio visual technology.
 

Where art overflows

The most unique aspect of The Round is the Soundshell which is an extension of the Studio stage. The Soundshell opens up from the Studio, linking state-of-the-art sound, lighting and modern back-of-house facilities to the beauty of our parkland amphitheatre.

This is an outdoor stage unlike any other, offering enhanced protection and security from weather whilst providing performers and staff full access to our backstage facilities.

The Soundshell will create a fantastic audience experience during outdoor events and festivals.

Where expression comes alive

A dedicated entrance provides a sense of arrival and allows the Creative Spaces to function independently to the the rest of The Round. 

The Creative Spaces feature two studios with wooden sprung floors, natural daylight, access to change facilities and all-gender toilets. 

Creative Spaces will be ideal for dance, rehearsals, workshops and classes of all varieties.

The Round's Function Centre is a stylish, bright, and versatile space with multiple configurations to accommodate a wide range of events, from corporate meetings and wedding receptions to multi-day conferences, private parties, and everything in between.

With gorgeous views overlooking a tranquil parkland setting, beautifully designed with sumptuous finishes, and state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, the Function Centre provides the perfect backdrop for your event.

A flexible space for creativity

The 203-seat Studio has a retractable seating bank, allowing for a range of different configurations from theatre style, to cabaret, to cocktail. 

The Studio features a large upstage window providing bright natural light for events. The space can also be fully blacked out, making it ideal for movie screenings, comedy, music, dance rehearsals and small-scale theatre productions. 

The Studio is also cleverly designed to open up to the outdoor Soundshell and amphitheatre, becoming the stage for your next outdoor event.
