Woodcut Printmaking: Year of the Horse

Working from your own concept, you’ll explore the expressive qualities of wood and learn how to design, carve, register, ink, and print your image using a small printing press. You’ll go home with a striking set of your own prints.

All materials are provided, including an A5 wood block, ink, carving tools, and paper. Bring along any sketches or ideas!
