The modern dream of a brick veneer house sitting on a quarter acre block (with a Hills Hoist in the backyard) has long been embedded the utopic vision of the Australian Home. This exhibition features artworks from the Whitehorse Art Collection and Box Hill Historical Society that represent houses and abodes in the Whitehorse municipality. The exhibition reflects different local residential architecture - and the changing aspirations of the people who dwell within.
