Enjoy and afternoon of quilting with textile artists Heather Bingham and Julie Langford. Heather will display a range of fabrics that have been stamp printed or stencilled. She will discuss techniques used, commercial stamps and “found” objects that can produce wide-ranging effects. Participants will be able to embellish some of these prints using hand and/or machine stitching.
Come and see many examples of fabric folding, both traditional and experimental. And then…..try it for yourself.
Julie will be there to guide you through the process so that you will have something to take home that you have made yourself.
