In this class you will learn to draw, render and paint plants from our experienced botanical artist Trish.
Using still life techniques and 3H, HB & 2B pencils, you will draw from botanical samples specifically selected by the tutor and brought into the classroom.
Using a limited watercolour palette Lemon yellow, Cadmium yellow, Permanent rose, Cadmium red, Cerulean blue, French Ultra Marine, you will learn how to mix secondary and tertiary colours to extend your palette range.
You'll also learn about different paper types. What the difference is between Hot Press and Cold Press paper and what techniques they are suited to. As well as the the difference between 100% cotton paper and paper made from trees and other plants.
