Kids dig into nature in this fun fall gardening workshop! They’ll plant seeds, make seed pots, explore insects, and investigate soil while learning beginner gardening skills.
Topics covered:
1. Make seed pots out of used paper.
2. Distribute and plant seeds into that seed pot.
3. How to plant seedlings.
4. Then, we go around the grounds to search for insects ( earthworms and grubs to be precise), so that they can identify which is good and which is not good for an edible garden.
5. Dig up some soil and investigate with a magnifying glass, what else we can find in a clump of soil.
Loads of fun!
