Join established artist Mark Dober as he discusses his current exhibition Movement and Time: landscapes of Mark Dober which presents six wall-sized gouache and watercolour paintings on paper that document various sites in southeast Australia. Waterways are a theme, including the Murray and Murrumbidgee rivers, Winton Wetlands, and Gardiners Creek in Box Hill South.
The artist will discuss his unique working methodology, which involves painting on multiple sheets of paper in the landscape to create works of scale, and a sense of immersion in nature’s majesty.
