About Deb
Deb has over 30 years’ experience teaching ceramics to adults, children and people with disabilities. For as long as Deb can remember she has loved creating art of all kinds. Deb completed a Bachelor of Art majoring in ceramics from 1982 to 1984 at Victoria College Prahran followed by a Diploma of Education at Rusden Teachers College in 1986. Deb has completed many artists in residence programs in both primary and secondary schools across Melbourne. Two of Deb’s illustrations have been published in Marmalade’s Book of Cats, An Anthology.
Inspiration
Deb feels indeed fortunate to live the artist’s life, to create and teach is incredibly good for the soul and she cannot imagine doing anything else that would bring her such joy.
Areas of Expertise
The three main mediums in which Deb works are clay, oil painting and mosaics. They all require a different approach and Deb tends to move between these mediums often on a shared theme
