Come and be inspired by the peaceful beauty of the winter garden at Strathdon House & Orchard Precinct. This gentle, creative workshop invites you to slow down and take a closer look at the natural world around you.
Perfect for beginners and experienced creatives alike, this session introduces the practice of nature journaling – a blend of sketching, writing, and quiet observation. You’ll be guided through techniques to help you notice and record seasonal details like shapes, textures, colours, and even scents. Whether you're drawing a bare tree branch, jotting down thoughts about the changing light, or noting the movement of birds, you'll be supported to create a personal and expressive journal page.
All materials and paper are provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own journal if you prefer. This is a mindful, screen-free activity designed to reconnect you with nature and spark your creativity. No drawing or writing experience needed.
