Discover the traditional art form of Japanese Sumi-e painting. Artworks will be displayed in the Matsudo Week exhibition in May, showcased at the Box Hill Community Arts Centre gallery.

Koi Fish have intrigued and inspired for centuries. They have been called ‘living jewels’ and ‘swimming flowers’ and embody a quiet beauty and mystery that’s both peaceful and intriguing. Koi fish have an unwavering ability to let go and go with the flow, trusting that life will take them to where they are meant to be.

In this workshop you will be guided by artist Junko Azukawa to paint your very own koi fish with ink, that is as unique as you are. This Japanese art form is sure to inspire. Materials provided.
