The red seals often seen in traditional Japanese artwork and documents are used in place of a signature and are an important part of Japanese culture.
In this workshop, you will learn about the history of Hanko, then design and carve your own stamp. Use it to personalize artwork, cards, photographs, or even as a unique business logo. Please bring your reading glasses if you use them, as you’ll be carving a small stone with a chisel. All materials are provided.
