Habitat: Local flora and fauna

In this exhibition local artists from the Alcove Art Group create works inspired by rich diversity of plants and animals that call Whitehorse home. A dazzling array of textile and hand-crafted art forms celebrate with vivid detail our treasured natural environment, which includes bushland areas uncommon in metropolitan Melbourne. The exhibition coincides with Nature Revealed by Annemieke Mein, a celebrated textile artist who spent part of her early life in Whitehorse. Honouring local connections and the unique environment that continues to inspire, this show is not to be missed.
