Exploring everything from tracks in the bush to the first electric tram, our program is full of fun and interesting activities that celebrate the history of transport in Whitehorse.

Family Day at Schwerkolt Cottage & Museum Complex kickstarts the week, with cool heritage trade demonstrations, a fire truck from the Fire Services Museum, and loads of fun activities. You can observe a sail-past at the Surrey Hills Boat Club or trace your family heritage through shipping records at the Blackburn Library. Join archaeologist Dr Gary Presland on his guided walk along Gardiners Creek, exploring its central role in the life of our First Peoples; or catch the moving history of Yarran Dheran and Mullum Mullum Valley in a walk-and-talk event. 

There are so many fascinating ways to travel into our collective history of journey-making.
