BHCAC Water Tanks (2016)
Under the guidance of street artist, Michael Fikaris, youth in the July 2016 school holiday program mastered the art of aerosol stencils while learning about Melbourne’s street art scene.
Over three sessions, the youth worked with others to design and complete the mural on the water tank located near the side entrance of Box Hill Community Arts Centre.
Youth learnt that commissioned street art is a legitimate art platform and can be used to enhance the community environment.
