A Matsudo street art project has been completed with artwork being painted on the eastern wall of the Box Hill Town Hall – Bank Street end, near the multicultural community hub.
The artist was international street artist ‘LucyLucy’.
The artwork is inspired by Japanese culture to honour the sister city relationship between the City of Whitehorse and City of Matsudo, in Japan.
The image borrows elements and catches the spirit of Japanese calligraphy; the floating fabric gives a sense of movement and flow with some Japanese inspired patterns.
