Have you ever wanted to bake your own tangy, hearty sourdough at home? In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn the basics of fermentation while making delicious sourdough focaccia – the Italian flatbread known for its crisp crust and soft, airy texture.
In this hands-on session, you’ll prepare the dough from scratch and learn techniques to achieve the perfect rise and flavour. While it bakes, you’ll create a trio of tasty dips to enjoy with your bread.
We’ll also bake some pre-risen dough on the day to enjoy straight away with whipped butters.
You’ll leave with your freshly baked sourdough focaccia bread, handmade dips, and the confidence to continue baking sourdough at home.
Please bring your own containers to take your dough/bread, butter and spreads home.
