This series began with a fascination for the glowing nights of old cinema —
when neon lights shaped the mood of the city
and gave the night its quiet stories.
Using impressionistic multiple exposure,
I let the neon of Box Hill and Whitehorse drift, overlap, and blend,
turning colour into memory and movement into texture.
Neon becomes the brushstroke,
and the night streets become the canvas.
These images are not just about signs.
They explore the feeling beneath the light —
nostalgia, culture,
and the small stories that emerge after dark.
I hope these familiar streets feel newly seen,
and that in their glow,
you catch a hint of the city’s whisper.

霓虹曾柔化黑夜，
也讓故事在光裡停留。
透過多重曝光，
我讓 Box Hill 與 Whitehorse 的霓虹交疊、漂浮，
